FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Former Bitwise employees are finally receiving the settlement money owed to them after the collapse of the tech company. This comes six months after CEOs Jake Soberal and Irma Olguin Jr. were sentenced for a wire fraud scheme and the theft of $115 million. “We got a check in the mail, and that’s exciting. Nearly 50 years later, the permanent Fire Station 12 is becoming a reality.

CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Clovis Police Department is cracking down on electric dirt bikes, driven by kids, on city streets. They say it’s not only illegal, but very dangerous. Clovis Officer Jason Gilles believes parents aren’t aware of what they’re buying for their kids. The police department is working on educating the public, and this begins with understanding the difference between an e-bicycle and an e-motorcycle. “A lot of the issues may be misinformation,” Gilles said.
