Redbird head coach Ryan Pedon has also signed a top-flight freshman class. If the season started today, the Redbirds would be the heavy favorites to win the Missouri Valley Championship. Pedon’s spring season has been spectacular. The Redbirds participated in and won the ‘Purple College Basketball Invitational’.

Walsh & Donald(St. Louis, MO) – Luke Walsh is heading to Southern Illinois and Sam Donald will play at Bellarmine. Their fathers, Kevin Walsh and Jeremy Donald tell us all about the recruiting process that helped their sons find their college basketball homes. Walsh played for his father at St. Louis’ Saint John Vianney High School and Donald starred at Columbia High School just accross the Mississippi in Illinois.

Introductory Press Conference(St. Louis, MO) – For the second time this season a Missouri Valley Conference team has introduced a new head coach. Drake’s Eric Henderson took his turn on Monday. After six outstanding years leading South Dakota State, Henderson joins the Valley’s defending champions. While Henderson was amassing a 129-60 six-year record, the Bulldogs have won 181 games over the past seven. Drake’s Eric HendersonHenderson understands Iowa, the upper Midwest and Drake.

Immediately after our last story about MVC roster updates, several significant stories emerged.
