The festival is coming up on May 17, but this weekend, three murals will be unveiled on South 9th Street. They depict some of the market's founders who helped shape it since the very beginning, like Elizabeth "Betty Ann "Mongelluzzo, who worked as a florist in the Italian Market for 30 years.

    After public backlash, the National Park Service has restored an image and quote from Harriet Tubman that were recently removed from the NPS' Underground Railroad webpage. And now private cultural organizations including the Harriet Tubman Museum of New Jersey in Cape May are working in overdrive to preserve the country's history. The New Jersey museum opened in June of 2020.  Tubman is known as the most famous leader of the Underground Railroad.

But at a unique store in Bucks County, shoppers will find more than just retro shirts. The shop is called Monkey's Uncle and for over a decade they've been selling vintage merchandise. But their mission is to give everyone a fair shot.

Lion Sports Bar is opening March 13 on Arch Street between 10th and 11th streets just in time for March Madness. Co-owner Mark Prinzinger shared with us that there’s a special prize.
