ADA COUNTY, Idaho — The Boise foothills are a place of peace. It's where people will find dusty trails, chirping birds, maybe the occasional mountain biker. However, if one listens closely, the hills are not just echoing with birdsong, but rumbling with history and horsepower. The tranquil area trades quiet for chaos this time of year. This is where people will find the Owyhee Motorcycle Club, the host of the country's longest-running and third-largest Vintage Race.

BOISE, Idaho — Idaho has not received an additional federal judge since 1954, when the state's population was just over 600,000 — less than a third of its current size. Rep. Mike Simpson, R-Idaho, is co-sponsoring the Judicial Understaffing Delays Getting Emergencies Solved Act of 2025, known as the JUDGES Act, to address the shortage. The bill is a revival of identical legislation that passed with bipartisan support but was vetoed by then-President Joe Biden in December 2024.

BOISE, Idaho — Owners of Tesla's Cybertruck are reporting increased harassment on roads and in parking lots, which they attribute to political backlash against Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Earlier this month, vandals caused $114,000 in damage at a Tesla Service Center in Meridian. Sixteen new Cybertrucks were tagged with red spray paint, and the word "Nazi" was painted across the building. Len Andersen, who has driven for Uber for over four years, said the harassment has intensified recently.
