A crash in Fort Lauderdale involving multiple vehicles sent four people to the hospital with serious injuries on Sunday evening, fire officials said. According to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue, the intersection of West Broward Boulevard and 7th Avenue is currently shut down due to a crash that happened just before 6 p.m. Here are some photos of the crash scene. Broward Blvd will be closed for an extended period of time. Please avoid the intersection of Broward and 7th Avenue.

Two people were hospitalized after a carjacking near a Miramar Aldi took a violent turn on Saturday. Miramar Police told CBS News Miami that it is currently investigating a possible carjacking that happened near the Aldi Plaza on 12255 Miramar Pkwy. According to the preliminary investigation, there may have been three men involved in the incident. Miramar Police said two people were shot and taken to the hospital in unknown conditions.

Two PortMiami employees were arrested this week after they were caught on camera stealing over $50,000 of art, the sheriff's office said. On Thursday morning, the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office said it had arrested and charged 27-year-old Angel Prudhomme and 50-year-old Tangela Park with second-degree grand theft. Arrest documents revealed that Park is also facing a criminal mischief charge. According to MDSO, both Prudhomme and Park were county employees assigned to PortMiami as custodial workers.
