2 Niko Lacorte has been handed a race ban in the FIA Formula 3 Championship after accumulating too many penalty points on his race license. The 17-year-old Italian went into this morning’s feature race at Barcelona with 11 penalty points, one short of the maximum a driver can carry on their license over a 12-month period before they get a ban, and finished it with two more penalties – and the associated penalty points – to his name.

2 Rafael Camara extended his FIA Formula 3 Championship lead with his third victory of 2025 in the Barcelona feature race. The Trident driver made a great start from pole and held a 0.6-second lead over ART Grand Prix’s Laurens van Hoepen early on. While the gap was small, DRS was not available at this point so he did not come under threat in the lead.

2 Andretti Global’s Dennis Hauger remained the driver to beat in Indy Nxt’s second practice session in Detroit on Saturday. After three minutes of action there were red flags as Jack William Miller crashed into Tommy Smith, which meant Miller was held in the pits for 10 minutes once the 45-minute session restarted. Salvador de Alba led the way, having set a 1m21.2432s.

2 Ivan Domingues led a Van Amersfoort Racing one-two in FIA Formula 3’s reversed-grid sprint race at Barcelona. Rodin Motorsport’s Roman Bilinski started from pole, but was out of the race by the second corner as he collided with MP Motorsport’s Tim Tramnitz and Hitech GP’s Martinius Stenshorne.
