Stadler and Trinity Metro have signed a contract for four additional DMU FLIRT vehicles. These diesel multiple units will add to the existing fleet of Stadler FLIRTs that have been in operation in Fort Worth, Texas – the city Trinity Metro serves – since 2019. One of the services Trinity Metro operates is the TEXRail service, which is seeing growing demand.

Sydney Airport has announced plans to invest AUD 200 million into a major overhaul of its T2 Domestic terminal – Australia’s busiest domestic terminal. This investment would be the first major upgrade to the terminal – used by 17 million passengers every year – in more than 30 years. The funds will go towards a more streamlined check-in, faster security and other updated facilities aimed at improving the passenger experience.

Alstom has signed a contract with Denver International Airport to continue the operation and maintenance of the automated people mover (APM) for a further seven years. The APM system, which operates Alstom’s Innovia APM R vehicles and first-generation Innovia APM cars, measures 1.2 miles in length and connects the distant concourses with the main terminal. The new contract will run from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2032 and is valued at EUR 218 million.
