The Cobbell case was started by Eloise Cobell to report the mismanagement of land, funds, and other assets by the federal government after the Dawes Act of 1887. The law divided native reservations into plots and gave them to Native Americans. In turn, they were granted U.S. citizenship and were required to abide by all U.S. laws.     TULSA, Okla — 2 News Oklahoma has received several tips regarding texts similar to the one below, stating that money is owed to the Oklahoma Department of Motor Vehicles. These most recent texts also include links claiming people can click to pay for "traffic violations", but OHP said the worst thing you can do is click on the link. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol addressed these concerns on social media, advising people to disregard the scam texts to ensure their security.

They said they wanted to support a local business while also getting their own unique OKC Thunder gear. “We're not even necessarily big basketball fans," said Johnson.

    TULSA, Okla — Epic Charter Schools announced more than 350 Epic employees will not be renewed for the 2025-2026 school year. The school released a statement saying 83 teachers and 274 administrative staff will not be coming back next school year. They'll also phase out the Learning Center Model, which was the in-person learning section. Instead they'll focus on one-on-one tutoring and their hybrid Comet Academy. Breakfast and lunch meal services will also be cut.

    TULSA, Okla. — In just a few days, Crybaby Hill will be swarmed with spectators, watching as the Tulsa Tough bike race chugs forward. To officially kick off the race, the city hosted the Crybaby Climb, a relay that had first responders compete in a fun way. Many residents are excited that Tulsa Tough races are starting soon.
