###After a five-and-a-half-year stay at the Bayshore Mall, the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is relocating its Eureka office to its new home at 2500 Sixth Street — the former Redwood Harley-Davidson location at the north end of town, just off Highway 101. According to a flyer posted at the Bayshore Mall office, the DMV will shutter its current location at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 16. The new Eureka location will open at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4.
