    The second of three suspected gunmen who carried out a shootout that left a baby girl and her father wounded in front of an unincorporated Cocoa grocery store will remain jailed on a no-bond status, records show. Lynnard Semaj Woods of Titusville, 19, was charged with aggravated child abuse, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, assault with intent to commit a felony and discharging a firearm in public in connection with the May 13 shooting.

    Two people were rescued from the Indian River after a small twin engine Piper airplane crash landed just offshore of Melbourne Beach June 4, Brevard County Fire-Rescue officials reported. The pilot, a passenger and a dog were pulled aboard a water rescue vessel but did not need further medical attention, the agency reported. The pilot was not identified. The incident happened about 1:50 p.m. in the 3100 block of River Villa Way. Several fire rescue units responded to the scene.
