(KRON) — A music festival in Morgan Hill is now canceled after the headliner Los Alegres Del Barranco had their work visas revoked by the U.S. State Department. The Trump administration says the band’s music praises Mexican cartels. SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — The City of San Jose’s largest encampment of unhoused people will be swept. That’s according to a vote by City Council Tuesday evening. The sweep of hundreds of people will happen this summer, making way for the city to undertake a massive reconstruction project of the surrounding area known as Columbus Park. Right under the San Jose International Airport flight path is Katherine Davis’ car — where she’s lived for six years.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — One of the largest unhoused encampments in San Jose does not have drinking water. The city shut off water fountains because they say the pipes keep getting vandalized. Now unhoused people are using things like food stamps to get water or take their chances with contaminated water.
