Wichita State men’s basketball finalized its roster on Wednesday afternoon by adding a junior point guard. Mike Gray Jr. announced his commitment from Nicholls State in Louisiana to Wichita State via a post on his personal Instagram. Gray, who stands at 6-foot-2, is a scoring threat from the guard position. He averaged 11.1 points per game last year on 43% shooting from the field and 41% from the 3-point line.

Oklahoma City Thunder executive vice president and general manager Sam Presti was named the NBA Basketball Executive of the Year, the league announced Tuesday. It's the first time Presti, who is in his 18th season with the Thunder franchise, has won the award that an executive from each team votes on. Presit oversaw the rebuild of the Thunder for a second time, which led to this season's franchise-best 68-14 record and No. 1 overall seed in the postseason.

All the Nuggets needed was an opening. The Thunder gave them just that, and it led to a dramatic finish Monday night in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals at Paycom Center. With 2.8 seconds remaining, Denver’s Aaron Gordon caught a pass on the left wing from Russell Westbrook and fired a 3-pointer that changed the complexion of the series.
