I remember this day like it was yesterday. We had just come in from recess, and I was glued to the window, watching the sky change. I didn’t know it then, but this moment sparked a curiosity, a passion, a purpose. One of the main reasons I became a meteorologist!

On this day in 2012, an outbreak of 21 tornadoes impacted Texas and Louisiana. Four tornadoes in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area were significant (EF2+): 1. Lancaster, Texas EF2 2. Kennedale, Texas EF2 3. Forney, Texas EF3 4. Royse City, Texas EF3 https://t.co/E1MJqfmzsc
