With the win, the Miners take the season series against Carolina two games to one.

The Purple Riders took down the Shamrocks, 10-3, for their thirteenth win of the season.

WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) — The Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights are still undefeated after taking down Oak Glen on Monday. The Maroon Knights defeated the Golden Bears, 24-0, in a five-inning run-rule win for their tenth win in a row. Wheeling Central improves to 10-0 on the season. Their next game will be on the road against Caldwell on Tuesday, April 15 at 5 p.m. Oak Glen falls to 6-10 on the year and will now hit the road again to take on Madonna on Wednesday, April 16 at 5 p.m.
