WAUKESHA — Every Saturday, more than a hundred people visit Katy's Kloset in Waukesha to pick up free medical equipment and supplies they desperately need. Ralph Parra, who has volunteered at the organization for 11 years, spends his Fridays organizing wheelchairs, crutches, and other medical equipment for the weekend rush. "The satisfaction of knowing that I'm helping people out in need," Parra said. Katy's Kloset functions as a medical supplies and equipment lending library.

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee's young artists and performers shined bright Thursday night at TRUESkool's Spring Showcase Galleryat Radio Milwaukee. There was a variety of performances from dancing to poetry to and musical acts. XYZ and painters were also on display made by TRUE Skool members. The organization is a Milwaukee non-profit whose mission is to, "engage, empower & educate youth, families and communities through transformative arts and Hip Hop Culture," according to its website.

"We believe that cloth diapers are a really good option, especially for kids with really sensitive skin," Rachel Wilkinson, who works for Whosesome Diaper Co., said.

PORT WASHINGTON — When a group of Port Washington volunteers learned of floods that damaged Kentucky communities and their fire departments, they sprang into action. The fire departments needed gear and new trucks. That's exactly what those volunteers got them. "Not everything was lost, but a fair share of it, where every firefighter does not have the equipment that they need to do what they gotta do," JJ Winnemuller said.
