A Miami man is speaking out for the first time about a frightening encounter he says left him unconscious and missing thousands of dollars in valuables - including a Rolex passed down from his grandfather. The 31-year-old, who asked not to be identified, told NBC6 he met a woman Friday night at Blackbird, a popular bar in Brickell. The woman claimed to be a tourist whose friends had abandoned her. He said he let his guard down.

A man accused of stabbing three men in Westchester appeared before a judge on Saturday. Daniel Lopez, 48, faces three counts of attempted second-degree murder and resisting an officer without violence. During his court appearance, a judge was inclined to grant Lopez bond and doubled the amount but then decided to deny him the bond. The judge was also not happy with his lengthy and violent criminal past. "Four years prison 2021," the judge said. "He also gets attempted second-degree murder in 2003.

Two parents from Broward County rushed to Florida State University to make sure their daughter was OK following a deadly mass shooting. Several students on Saturday gathered at the university for a vigil, where music was played and prayers were said. The mother of 18-year-old Jennifer Jenkins was at the vigil with her daughter and spoke to NBC6. "So she sent us a text and said she was fine, physically, but emotionally, as parents, we drove up," Jacqueline Jenkins said.
