WILLIAMSTON, N.C. (WNCT) — Williamston Police Department is looking for a 51-year-old man who was reported missing by his wife around 4:30. p.m. on Tuesday. Theophilus “Theo” Whitehead is 6’2. with gray hair and brown eyes. He may be suffering from an altered mental status and Williamston PD is concerned for his well-being. Officers located Whitehead’s car at Moratoc Park but have not located Whitehead.

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Most Greenville offices are closed to observe the MLK holiday Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, but there are some places having events to continue Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s message. Wildwood Park was open for the holiday for those looking to volunteer and help clean around the park. Families took part in the activities, walked the trail and helped continue MLK’s legacy. Parks Program Assistant Andrew Wimsatt said the park is a huge impact.
