HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. (WNCT) — The JH Rose Rampants find themselves in familiar territory making their third state title game in the last five years. Friday night’s opponent, the North Lincoln Knights, played game one of the North Carolina 3A State Baseball Championship. At the bottom of the third inning, the Knights led 1-0 with Ethan Simmons getting a base hit double to left field. This drove Josh Roberson to tie the game at 1-1.

Members of the school board welcomed the community to hear their thoughts and opinions on the closure’s impact. They spoke about student safety, lack of convenience and of what losing the school would mean. One message that was clear from both board members and people in the community was that solutions are needed.
