    It’s expected that the jury in the trial of Richard Satchwell will today be presented with more media interviews he gave, following Tina Satchwell's reported 2017 disappearance. Three interviews were played in court yesterday afternoon. Richard Satchwell described his wife as ‘the most amazing person I’ve ever come across’ in an interview given to RTE on the 26th of June 2017. He said she had asked him to go to Aldi in Dungarvan in County Waterford and was not at the house when he got back.

The 57-year-old of Gratton Street, Youghal, county Cork was arraigned at a sitting of the Central Criminal Court in Dublin this afternoon and replied "Not guilty" when asked to enter a plea.

    A 29-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Daniel O’Sullivan. The 32-year-old who was originally from Mallow in north Cork was pronounced dead at Cork University Hospital on Monday night. Reece Keogh, of North Main Street, Youghal, Co Cork appeared at Midleton District Court charged with murder. Detective Garda John O’Donovan told the court, Keogh replied ‘Not guilty’ when the charge was put to him.

    A 43-year-old man has been found guilty of murdering his wife at their home in Cork. Regin Rajan was charged with murdering 38-year-old Deepa Dinamani at their home at Cardinal Court, Wilton, on the 14th of July 2023. The jury of 7 women and 5 men began deliberations yesterday, following two weeks of evidence at a sitting of the Central Criminal Court in Cork. Regin Rajan said his wife, Deepa Dinamani, had sustained a fatal wound to her neck in a struggle over a knife in her bedroom.
