Two men were arrested and a forklift was needed after Gardai in Limerick and Clare seized €10m with of herbal cannabis in Co Clare yesterday. The haul weighed half a metric tonne and has been valued at €10m by Gardai in what is one of the biggest - by volume at least - drug seizures in Munster in quite some time.

A community is in mourning this morning after the tragic loss of a young life in yet another fatal road accident, which happened close to the Cork-Tipp border last night.
