The choice changed his life. He was just named to the U.S. Men's National Flag Football team for the third time. The versatile playmaker will complete with his 11 U.S. teammates in the 2025 IFAF Americas Continental Flag Football Championship in September in Panama.

Soon after, signage outside the arena was switched, replacing visuals of the Magic's former look with its new one. With a modernized touch, the logo incorporates the Magic star and pinstripes made famous by the teams of the Shaq and Penny days.
