ORLANDO, Fla. - The soccer tournament of the summer arrives in Orlando in four weeks. The FIFA Club World Cup will bring international powerhouse teams like Manchester City and Juventus to the City Beautiful for six matches from June 17 - July 4. The tournament may also bring a history-making mom of three to Orlando. Tori Penso is a longtime professional referee. She's been working for MLS for the last five years. FIFA just assigned her to the Club World Cup.

ORLANDO, Fla. - Cutting-edge technology is helping the NBA's best in Central Florida. An Orlando warehouse is home to an interactive, innovative LED court. It's made by German company ASB GlassFloor. The court is the only one of its kind in the United States. LED lights underneath the coated glass surface of the court are controlled by an iPad. The floor helps players track their shooting, helps coaches diagram plays and helps teams run sets.

ORLANDO, Fla. - The best players in the world bring the fans to Bay Hill, but it's the volunteers that keep the Arnold Palmer Invitational humming. An estimated 1,600 volunteers have come to help the patrons and players this year, from giving directions and keeping score to taking pictures and more. Many come back year after year, giving their time partly in the memory of Arnold Palmer. The Arnold Palmer Invitational runs through March 9 at Bay Hill Golf Club in Orlando.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - This week, race fans are getting the ride of a lifetime at the Daytona International Speedway. The NASCAR Racing Experience has returned to the iconic track. It puts fans behind the wheel of a stock car and on the world-famous oval. They navigate the high banks of turns 1, 2 , 3 and 4 and the backstretch straightaway at speeds topping 120 mph. Driver safety is a priority, so fans are fitted with fire suits, helmets and HANS devices.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Cool, dry weather and 24 hours of racing are in the forecast for Daytona International Speedway this weekend. The Rolex 24 begins this Saturday at 1:40 pm and ends Sunday at 1:40 pm. 61 of the fastest Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Mercedes, Corvettes, Cadillacs and more will take to the road course for the world-famous marathon. It's the 63rd edition of the race but the first for Cocoa Beach native Eric Filgueiras as a driver.

The Space Coast High School Varsity football team is giving thanks this week for an incredible season - and also to a Tampa Bay Buccaneer whose generosity helped change the program's fortunes. Before the season began, it was obvious the Vipers football team needed all new equipment, which cost thousands of dollars. The Space Coast football team didn't have the money until Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield stepped in.

ORLANDO, Fla. - UCF legend Shaquem Griffin will be hosting a special combine for many different sports this Saturday at the UCF Nicholson Fieldhouse. The combine is called "The Search for Greatness," modeled after the NFL Combine with the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, agility drills and more. The combine is not just for football players. It's for athletes from over two dozen Olympic sports, male and female. The athletes are in their late teens to mid-20s and have been preselected.

MELBOURNE, Fla. - Monday through Thursday, before the sun rises, the Melbourne football team is working, so when the lights come on Friday night, the Bulldogs are ready. Melbourne is one of the few teams that practice before school. Roll call is at 6 a.m. News 6 attended a practice. Coach David Kintigh's Bulldogs are coming together, winning their last two games. It's a young team but part of a long tradition. This is the 100th season of Melbourne High School football.

While bucket lists are pretty common, what was on one Brevard County woman's bucket list was pretty uncommon. Sherry Priami, a mother of three, wanted to take part in a bodybuilding competition. In 2017, she began working at it. She competed, and she won. She was convinced to do another competition. She won again.
