    Fire crews have evacuated a woman from a burning property on River St and Wellington St in Mackay this afternoon. The fire broke out in a single storey dwelling on Wellington St just before 6pm. Multiple fire crews, battled the blaze with flames visible through huge plumes of smoke. At 6.35pm, a Queensland Fire Department spokesman said five crews were working on putting the fire out and one person was in hands of the paramedics.
