Franklin Dunn discovered Buffalo Center for Arts & Technology as a sophomore at Frederick Law Olmstead High School and soon headed there daily after school to take advantage of free classes in art, digital media and 3D printing with other inner-city teens. Using state-of-the-art equipment to virtually design buildings in Shawn Chiki’s 3D modeling and printing lab sparked Dunn’s interest in architecture, which Chiki also teaches at the University at Buffalo.
