GETTYSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Hear ye, hear ye, the circus is coming to town, or more accurately, a borough, next month in Adams County. The Kingdom of Wonders is bringing its traveling Medieval Circus Spectacle to Gettysburg Recreation Park, along Breckenridge Street, from July 17 to July 20. Attendees will get the chance to watch performers in the air doing tricks, juggling and more during the hour and a half long show. The show does not have clowns or animals.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — A jury convicted a man of stabbing another man to death in Harrisburg in 2023 over money that was owed for drugs, prosecutors said. The Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office on Friday announced, 31-year-old Davon Hairston was found guilty of second-degree murder after the jury deliberated for three hours on June 25. Sentencing will take place in September.

Penn State’s 88 overall is the same as Texas, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Georgia, Clemson and Texas A&M. The best team is Alabama with an 89 overall. The ninth and tenth best rated teams are Oregon and LSU who both have an overall of 86.

(WHTM) — The Shapiro Administration is sending a warning about a recent scam targeting Pennsylvania SNAP users. Scammers have been calling SNAP users and directing them to provide their identity, or their account will be closed, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS). There is an automated recording saying, “Thank you for calling the PA EBT Customer Service. Enter your card number.”Phone numbers the scammers are using include: 888-273-6954, 844-239-5136 and 888-592-8936.
