LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - The victim in an early morning shooting near 57th Street and Ash Avenue in Lawton has been identified. According to the Lawton Police Department, 19-year-old Emmanuel Meeks was transported to the hospital following the shooting on August 7. He was later pronounced dead. LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - The Lawton Police Department responded to a possible shooting the morning of Aug. 8, in downtown Lawton. When officers arrived they found an unresponsive individual injured around 3rd and C Avenue. Officers did begin life saving measures on the individual, according to LPD. That individual was transported to the hospital. There is no word yet on the current condition of the individual. 7News Reporter Jarred Burk was on the scene of the shooting this morning.

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - Lawton police are searching for a suspect in a stabbing that sent one person to the hospital. It happened Wednesday afternoon, July 24, at the Sherwood Village community. There, police say two people got into a fight when one stabbed the other. They say the victim had lacerations on his torso and needed to be taken for treatment. LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - A search is underway at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife refuge after a missing persons report was filed. The report was for an individual whose vehicle was parked at the refuge in the Post Oak and Treasure Lake parking area. Officials received the report on Tuesday evening, according to the public affairs specialist for Oklahoma U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. A multi-agency search is still ongoing.

According to LPD, four suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting that left Sir Daniel Smith of Lawton dead. COMANCHE CO., Okla. (KSWO) - A man has been arrested in connection to the shooting which happened just outside of Elgin in the morning hours of June 5. Sergio Granados has been arrested in connection to the shooting that sent one man to the hospital. 7News checked on the condition of the shooting victim on June 6, and the hospital listed the person as being in critical condition. While OSBI was called in to help secure the scene, the Comanche County Sheriff’s Department is leading the investigation.

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - The Lawton Police Department released the name of the victim in the deadly shooting incident which took place around 7 p.m., June 4. The name of the victim who was pronounced dead at the hospital after being found with gunshot wounds is Sir Daniel Smith. LPD was called to a home located on NW Smith Avenue, just after 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 4. When they arrived police say they found Smith with gunshot wounds. Smith was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

(KSWO) - Leslie Bogue, a grandmother from Marlow, is being charged with four different counts stemming from alleged actions taken during the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection at the United States Capitol. Bogue is charged with entering and remaining in a restricted building, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building, disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in the Capitol grounds of buildings.

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - The Lawton Police Department is releasing the name of the person found dead near Lake Lawtonka, May 2. Benjamin Van Buren is the name of the person found near the lake. Around 10:50 a.m. May 2, police responded to a call of a person face down near Lake Lawtonka. 7News Reporter Jarred Burk was on the scene once news broke. Then around 4 p.m, and 4:50 p.m., updates about the found body were released, including a statement from Fort Sill.
