    WAURIKA, Okla. (KSWO) - Two gates are now open at Waurika Lake, following the recent flooding that took place across Southwest Oklahoma. As of the last check, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers stated the gates are open a little over three feet. The site also says they’re releasing more than 1,700 cubic feet a second. Despite the release, the flood pool is 104 percent full.

According to court documents, it happened in early March. That’s when court documents allege Joshua Ryan Anthony stabbed Jeff Churchill multiple times in the head and neck.

    TILLMAN CO., Okla. (KSWO) - Officials with Tillman County are asking for public input as they work to assess flooding damage in the area. In a new release, officials say that while they are primarily focusing on damage to roads, bridges, and critical county areas they need assistance for homes and businesses. Officials ask people to report flood-related damages through damage.ok.gov.

    OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KSWO) - A local legislator’s bill aimed at adjusting eviction timelines has been rejected by the Governor. This week, Governor Kevin Stitt vetoed Senate Bill 128, which was co-authored by Representative Daniel Pae of Lawton. The bill would have added five days to the amount of time between the delivery of a summons and an eviction hearing. But in his veto statement, Stitt said existing laws provide enough time for the eviction process.

According to those numbers, there are 401 homes currently on the market, with an average asking price of around $238,000. They’ve been on the market for 72 days on average. Meanwhile, 1,500 homes have been sold and closed on in the last 12 months selling for an average of $195,000.
