Brad Stevens’ wheeling and dealing has begun. In their first trade of what promises to be an active offseason, the Boston Celtics agreed Monday to send Jrue Holiday to the Trail Blazers for Anfernee Simons and two second-round picks, league sources confirmed to The Athletic. The deal, which will save Boston about $4.7 million in salary next season, will also clear significant future salary off the Celtics’ books.

Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown underwent an arthroscopic debridement procedure Wednesday on his injured right knee, an issue that is not expected to hamper him when training camp starts in September, the team said. Brown, 28, missed eight of Boston's final 16 regular-season games and dealt with a minutes restriction when he was available. Though that minutes restriction was lifted for the playoffs, he acknowledged that he still wasn't fully healthy during the Celtics' run.
