Years later when filming a documentary about his musical career, he was able to find his biological father. The two quickly realized they had many similarities. Both play country music, served in the same division of the armed forces and ride motorcycles.

(WDBJ) - The Book of Mark is brought to life through music in a new production taking place the first weekend of February at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church in Roanoke County. It’s called The Song of Mark and draws on the Book of Mark from the New Testament of the Bible. “The Gospel of Mark, in particular the Song of Mark, puts a real human face on the character of Jesus,” said Kevin Lewis, with Logos Theatricus, the production group that’s putting on the musical.

    ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) -The numbers tell a story when it comes to teens and cannabis, students in Virginia are using it. One in 25 Virginia middle school students has tried cannabis at some point in their lives, according to a study conducted by the Virginia Cannabis Control Authority. Thirteen percent of high school students in the state currently use the substance, according to the study. That’s more than one in every ten students.
