This week over 1,100 healthcare workers from Kadlec are going on strike asking for better wages and staffing. For over eight months now, SEIU and Kadlec have been working to negotiate a contract for care-workers. On August 9th, SEIU sent a notice they'd go on strike. On Tuesday August 20th, that labor strike has now begun. Blanca Hinojosa, a Pharmacy Technician with Kadlec for 12 years, tells us striking was the last thing she wanted to do. She, tells us.
