KENNEWICK, Wash. — Kennewick police were kept busy Friday night with multiple calls, including a reported assault just before midnight. Officers responded to the 1400 block of West First Avenue, where they discovered a victim who had been beaten on the face with a firearm. Nearby, officers found a vehicle that had crashed and showed evidence of a firearm being discharged inside. The suspect had fled the scene before officers arrived.

FINLEY, Wash. — A car, a shed, and an RV were engulfed in flames in Finley yesterday afternoon. Photos shared by Benton County Fire District One reveal the aftermath of the fire, which ignited shortly after 4 p.m. in the vicinity of South Yew Street and East Third Avenue. Firefighters from the Kennewick Fire Department and Franklin County Fire District Three responded to the scene to help control the blaze.
