Saturday is California Adopt-a-Pet Day, and more than 150 shelters across the state are holding adoption events, including a few right here in the Morongo Basin. Palms N Paws Animal shelter in Twentynine Palms is hosting an adoption event with all fees waived on eligible pets that have already been spayed or neutered. They’ll be hosting the event from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the shelter located at 7086 Buillion Ave.
