A mother's determination to get her daughter's case reopened has finally paid off. Marguerite Morris has been fighting to get her daughter's case reclassified from a suicide to undetermined and reopened by the Anne Arundel County Police Department for more than a decade. "It's been a re-traumatization, repeatedly. It's like you overcome a hurdle and you think it's over and then someone crosses. It's like they keep pulling the rug out from under you at every step," said Morris.

Prescription drugs cost Marylanders millions each year. The prescription drug affordability board is getting expanded access to bring those costs down. Currently the board can only regulate the cost of drugs for state and local governments.

ANNAPOLIS, MD - Maryland's lawmakers spent Monday putting the finishing touches on legislation before adjourning Sine Die at midnight. Maryland Democrats got the budget, blueprint, and energy package finished on the final day. The biggest goal for Republicans on Sine Die was to stall, filibuster, and delay.
