A downtown Napa office building remains in the developer’s hands after a foreclosure sale was averted. The three-story building at 1250 Main St. (also known as 925 Clinton St.) had been set for an April 4 trustee’s sale on a $15.9 million loan that had gone into default. But the developer, Suisun City-based Wiseman Commercial Inc. and owner MacKenzie Realty Capital Inc. worked out a new lending arrangement with First National Bank.

Vallejo Self Storage, a 919-unit self-storage facility, was sold within days of completion, as investors seek properties with certain amenities and community demand. The property at 384 Fairgrounds Drive sold March 27 to Nylga Harvest Vallejo LLC, an affiliate of Harvest Properties Inc., an Oakland-based commercial property developer that also has been building over 1,300 units at Napa Self Storage 1890 Pueblo Ave. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed.

Foley Family Wines & Spirits has launched the FFWS Women in Wine Scholarship Fund in partnership with the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas. The announcement Wednesday came the last day of the court’s Women’s Sommelier Symposium, held April 6–9 at Chateau St. Jean winery in Sonoma Valley. The $10,000 scholarship fund supported 10 female sommeliers selected to attend the symposium.
