    At least three ranches in the Elk Mountain area lost 50 cows to an all but unheard of disease in the U.S. Shortly after the cattle diagnosis, one rancher had potential symptoms of the disease too.     Professors and department heads from the University of Wyoming’s College of Health Sciences have accused their dean, Jacob Warren, of engaging in nepotism to benefit his spouse and of costing the college more than $10 million in grant funding by altering grant applications before submission. Those allegations are contained in a 12-page letter calling for a formal dispute resolution process.
