"I'm pretty much the voice inside the ballpark," new Rockhounds PA announcer Chase Cochran said. A voice that has been the same for the past 16 seasons will sound different in 2025.     According to the University of Texas Permian Basin, all Falcon football games and tailgating spots this season will be free to the community. The decision comes in the wake of the Falcon's historic 2023 season as Lone Star Conference champions and in celebration of UTPB's 50th anniversary. Tailgating in the parking lot at both Ratliff and Astound stadiums is open to all. Just show up, pick a spot, bring friends, coolers, and game day food.

    ODESSA, Texas — Odessa College has announced their new head baseball coach. According to a release, Coach David Wood has accepted the position of head coach of the Wranglers. Coach Wood has been the Interim Head Coach at San Jacinto College in Houston since Nov. 2023, where he was previously the assistant coach. The team finished the year with a 40-21 record and advanced to the NJCAA Super Regional Tournament.
