TULSA, Okla. — Applications are open for a one-month Tulsa remote program called Tulsa Bound. Tulsa Bound is an Experience Tulsa program for remote workers. Applications are open for anyone, but it is geared towards people who haven't been to Tulsa. “It’s essentially a one month work-cation,” said McKenzie Rearrick, Manager of Talent Pathways for Experience Tulsa.

"Ask a Lawyer" is an event where hundreds of Oklahoma attorneys are volunteering their time and expertise as community service. Law Day is sponsored by the Oklahoma Bar Association and thousands of calls are received every year. People can call or email to ask questions.

JENKS, Okla. — It has been one month since the smoldering fire at Gem Dirt in Jenks. Smoke impacted hundreds in Jenks and surrounding areas. The Oklahoma Department of Mines (ODM) issued two violations to the business. The fire started on March 17 and was officially out on March 28. The report from ODM came out April 2. The first violation found there were large stockpiles of combustible material with no signs posted to warn people against smoking and open flames.

A homicide suspect wanted in connection with two shooting deaths is headed back to Tulsa with federal agents to face his charges. Mexican Federal Police arrested Angel Ibarra in Mexico. He's in custody at Fort Worth and federal agents are in the process of bringing him back to Tulsa. Ibarra, along with two others, has been charged with two counts of first degree murder and two counts of shooting with intent to kill.
