Federal immigration detainee Emerson Colindres was removed from the Butler County Jail early Tuesday and taken to an Ohio airport for deportation, Sheriff Richard Jones told Enquirer media partner FOX19 NOW. Colindres, 19, was moved around 1:30 or 2:30 a.m., a jail supervisor said. “The sheriffs office transported him and other ICE prisoners from the jail to an airport in Ohio for deportation,” Jones told FOX19 NOW. Emerson Colindres, the Cincinnati 19-year-old detained by ICE, was deported June 17, according to the Butler County sheriff. But his attorney has been given no information about where he is, "despite repeated attempts" to contact U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio.

A 49-year-old woman is fighting for her life after being shot in the head in Over-the-Rhine, according to Cincinnati police. Officers responded to the 1400 block of Walnut Street at 12:45 a.m., Thursday, June 4, said Captain Stephen Bower, the night chief. An officer nearby heard several shots before the call came out. ShotSpotter also detected multiple gunshots fired in the area, he said. Police found the victim shot in the left side of her head.

Expect major delays in and around downtown Cincinnati on your morning commute Thursday. A semi-tractor-trailer overturned on westbound Fort Washington Way just outside the Lytle Tunnel shortly before 6 a.m., according to Cincinnati police. All lanes are blocked on westbound Fort Washington Way/U.S. 50 and the Lytle Tunnel is shut down on southbound Interstate 71, all likely through the morning commute, police said.
