HE IS ONE OF THE MANY PEOPLE WHO DIED IN THE ROOF COLLAPSE TUESDAY MORNING, HIS FRIENDS DESCRIBING HIM TO ME AS A FORCE FOR GOOD. TONIGHT’S VIGIL NOT ONLY HONORS ROSARIO AND ALL OF THE VICTIMS, BUT GIVES THE DOMINICAN COMMUNITY HERE A WAY TO UNITE IN THEIR GRIEF.

The Dow closed down 2,200 points on Friday, with the S&P dropping 6% and the Nasdaq falling 5.8%. This rapid rate decline put the stock market at risk of triggering a circuit breaker, which would temporarily pause market-wide trading.
