ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Allentown School District’s Virtual Campus students won’t be able to access their online learning platform Friday, the district announced. That’s because ASD’s vendor for its virtual curriculum, EdforTech Alliance, experienced a cyberattack on its financial system, according to a district email sent to parents and shared with LehighValleyNews.com. Students’ academic data was not compromised and remains secure, the vendor told ASD.

They register themselves to vote, cast their ballots and help others do the same. That work has earned Building 21 its seventh consecutive Governor’s Civic Engagement Award for registering a significant number of eligible students to vote.

SCHNECKSVILLE — Lehigh Carbon Community College students will be able to study cybersecurity starting in fall. Through the new program, they'll be able to learn about how to secure digital systems, networks and infrastructures from evolving cyber threats, according to a news release from LCCC. The community college will offer a cybersecurity associate degree, bringing LCCC total associate degree offerings to 70 majors.

Jimenez struggled to fit in at Dieruff High School. But with determination and perseverance, she slowly found her way. ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Building 21 High School will be renamed in fall to reflect its status as Allentown School District’s fourth theme-based school. As of the 2025-26 school year, it will become Bridgeview Academy of Health, Science, Innovation and Technology. The school board on Thursday approved the high school’s new name, along with $150,000 in funding to update the school’s signage and logo.
