News 8 is learning more about the Bhutanese Nepali individuals who were deported this week. Dauphin County Commissioner Justin Douglas said one was from Dauphin County, and another was from Lancaster County. Two were from Allegheny County. Their deportation route included a flight to New Delhi, India, before they traveled to Paro, Bhutan. Information shared with Douglas's office indicated that within 24 hours of arriving in Bhutan, the four were no longer in the country.

The trial of a Lancaster County man accused of killing his estranged wife 40 years ago is set to begin.Jury selection was completed on Thursday. Twelve jurors and three alternates were chosen.Jere Bagenstose, 70, is charged with homicide in the death of Maryann Bagenstose.Investigators said the two were separated and fighting for custody of their 2-year-old son.She was 25 when she was reported missing in June 1984. Her body has never been found.Bagenstose was charged in 2022.

The operator of a spa in York County is facing charges of promoting prostitution.Carroll Township police say Xiumei Wang, 60, is on their most wanted list.In September, a man reported to police that he was offered sexual favors in exchange for money while getting a massage at the former Yilian Spa in Dillsburg.Police conducted surveillance of the spa and said they observed that all customers were men and the workers were women.

Two of the victims of the plane crash in Lancaster County on March 9 are still in critical condition.Matt and Judah White are both at the Lehigh Valley Burn Center.Matt was piloting the plane to Ohio to return Judah to college after spring break.Two others on the plane were treated and released from a hospital.We don't know the condition of the fifth person aboard the plane.The plane crashed in a parking lot at Brethren Village in Manheim Township shortly after takeoff from Lancaster Airport.
