MERCED COUNTY, Calif. — A man died and a woman was seriously injured following a multi-vehicle car crash involving a detached camper Tuesday in Merced County, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash happened at 10:20 p.m. on State Route 99, just south of Atwater Boulevard in Atwater.
