As tens of thousands fled the January wildfires, those with neurodiverse needs were acutely affected, having their routines upended, according to local families and nonprofits. The life of 20-year-old Sean Gleeson has been impacted as well after the Palisades Fire forced him and his family to relocate from the Pacific Palisades to a Santa Monica apartment. HILO, Hawaii (Island News) -- For decades, the Schweitzer brothers have found themselves at odds with Hawaii County. And even with suspect Albert Lauro Jr. taking his own life after a 100% DNA match was confirmed for the 1991 crime scene where Dana Ireland was found clinging to life, the county is still opposing the Schweitzer brothers. The Dana Ireland murder case resumed with a court hearing Thursday in Hilo and will continue on Monday.
