GRESHAM, Ore. — Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on Saturday night. Gresham police said the victim was walking on the sidewalk along Northeast 181st Avenue near Pacific Street around 5:30 p.m. when they were hit by the vehicle. First responders attempted to save the victim's life, but they died at the scene. The person has not yet been identified. The driver also struck a power pole. There were not any power outages as a result.

TIMBER, Oregon — At least one person died, and others were seriously injured in a crash on Highway 26 in the coast range on Saturday evening, according to Oregon State Police. The first reports of the crash occurred around 6 p.m. east of the Sunset Rest Area near Music Road in the town of Timber. An advisory on the Oregon Department of Transportation's website said lanes were closed in both directions at mile post 31. The closure stretches between mile post 31 and Timber junction.

LEBANON, Ore. — One person was found dead inside a car they were living in Saturday morning after firefighters responded to a report of cars on fire, followed by an explosion that rattled the neighborhood. Lebanon Fire District was called to W Grant Street near 8th Street around 9:20 a.m. Arriving crews observed three vehicles that were fully engulfed in flames near a house. As they began their attack on the fire, an explosion occurred inside a vehicle.

GLADSTONE, Ore. — The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Marine Unit recovered a body along the Willamette River north of Meldrum Bar Park on Sunday afternoon. While unconfirmed at this time, investigators believe the individual may be Marcelus Angelo Rodriguez. The sheriff's office responded to the area around 1:00 p.m. "Deputies observed the body in a difficult to reach location along the shoreline," CCSO said. The marine unit was able to access the location by boat and recover the body.
