The Royals found a sweet spot in their schedule, and have used it to get into a groove after a sketchy first few weeks of the season. Starting Friday, the Royals continue their homestand by opening a series against the Boston Red Sox (20-19). Kansas City sits at 23-16, third in AL Central. They trail the Tigers (25-13) and Guardians (22-15). This may not sound spectacular on the surface, but it certainly has quelled the feelings of worry for fans who saw the team struggle early in the season.
