    LAS VEGAS — The majority of auto technicians rely on technology to perform their jobs and are comfortable using advanced diagnostic tools, Anyline Gmbh announced at press conference Thursday at the 2024 SEMA Show. Vienna, Austria-based AI tech firm Anyline conducted a survey of 224  technicians in October. The survey found that 70% of auto techs rely on technology to do their daily job and 68% are comfortable using advanced diagnostic tools.

    LAS VEGAS—The 2024 SEMA Show and concurrent Automotive Aftermarket Parts Expo (AAPEX) are, as always, headed to Las Vegas the first week in November with plenty of networking and educational opportunities on tap. SEMA, which boasts of attracting more than 140,000 attendees annually, runs Nov. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). The show is restricted to those in the automotive trades, although Friday's SEMA Fest is open to the public. AAPEX runs Nov.

    FORT WAYNE, Ind. — McMahon's Best-One, a family-owned and -operated dealership with 13 locations in Indiana, is the winner of Tire Business' 2024 Best Places to Work, following two years as a runner-up. President Kim McMahon was quick to share the glory, immediately crediting the dealership's 185 employees for the distinction. "(Our employees) are always willing to go above and beyond. Whether that's for the company or for our customers, for the community," she said.
