The incident happened in Saintfield on Thursday evening. At approximately 9.20pm, four masked men, one armed with a crowbar, had forced entry into a house in the Woodrow Gardens area. Police said one of the men held the resident in a room, while the other ransacked the property. A substantial amount of cash was taken and the men made off in a dark coloured car. The victim wasn't injured, however officers said they have been left badly shaken by their ordeal.

The concert was announced on Wednesday after Kneecap revealed the band’s performance at the Scottish festival TRNSMT will not go ahead. Taking to social media the west Belfast group said: “The pre-sale sold out in 80 seconds. "New record that - remaining general sale go up Saturday 10am. These will also go in seconds.” Kneecap are now set to play in the O2 Arena in Glasgow on July 8. They were due to take to the stage at the Glasgow-based festival, which is scheduled to take place from July 11-13.

Eugene Diamond has been running his business on Broughshane Street in Ballymena for 45 years. His shop sits on one of the main routes into and out of the town centre. Mr Diamond, who is famous for posting images of the front pages of newspapers on Twitter, opens the doors of his shop at 5.30am everyday. But following a recent health scare the much loved businessman says he has had to “look at retirement”.
