The Dallas Zoo’s wildly popular Dollar Days return this summer on Thursday, July 17, and Tuesday, August 5, offering $1 admission for all guests ages 3 and up (children 2 and under are always free). Each year, the Dallas Zoo hosts Dollar Days to show appreciation for the community that supports the Zoo year-round. “Dollar Days are one of the most important parts of our summer because they’re all about giving back to the community that gives so much to us,” said Lisa New, CEO of the Dallas Zoo.

The new Sprouts grocery store in Oak Cliff was welcomed with long lines early Friday morning, with some shoppers lining up as early as 3 a.m., according to WFAA. The Sprouts Farmers Market store at North Hampton Road and Fort Worth Avenue opened its doors at 7 a.m. Friday. A large crowd of shoppers were already lined up for the highly anticipated opening that featured freebies and giveaways.
