SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – Union Catholic continued its longstanding and very important tradition with the May Crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary during two ceremonies at the school on Thursday morning. The ceremonies, attended by UC's Class of 2025, were conducted by UC's Peer Ministry. Principal Dr. Jim Reagan Jr. opened the ceremony by explaining the importance and the history of the May Crowning and how much The Blessed Mary means to Union Catholic.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – The Union Catholic baseball team continued its impressive play with a huge 9-5 win over Westfield on Thursday. With the score tied 5-5, UC scored three runs in the third inning and another run in the fourth inning en route to a 9-5 victory. The Vikings are now 8-3 on the season, 6-0 at home, and 4-1 in the Watchung Division of the Union County Conference. Westfield opened the scoring in the top of the first with two runs.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – Charlotte Donnelly erupted for a career-high four goals to spark the Union Catholic girls lacrosse team to a historic 10-9 win over Morris Catholic on Wednesday. It's the first time the Vikings have ever defeated Morris Catholic. Union Catholic jumped out to a 4-0 lead on goals by Donnelly, Shannon McGuinness, Angie Corvalan and Ryan Gorski.

With the game tied at 7-7 in the bottom of the eighth, Chris Wilson stepped up and laced a single to score Josiah Sharpe, sealing the comeback win for the Vikings.

ARCADIA, CA – Union Catholic girls nearly broke the national record when they shattered the NJ record and blew up the track with an electrifying victory in the sprint medley relay on Friday night at the Arcadia Invitational in California. The quartet of senior Taylor Cox, sophomore Sydney Chadwick, senior Taylor Aska, and sophomore Paige Sheppard combined to stop the clock at 3:48.83 to blitz the field with the second-fastest time ever run in U.S. high school history.
