OCEAN COUNTY, N.J. (PIX11) – Videos from New Jersey officials show a massive, 11,500-acre wildfire burning through Ocean County on Tuesday. The fire broke out early Tuesday evening and grew to 11,500 acres by Wednesday morning, according to the New Jersey Forest Fire Service. The blaze is 30% contained, officials said. The fire is burning in the Greenwood Forest Wildlife Management Area near the Ocean, Lacey and Barnegat Townships, officials said.

A place far better than any hospital room he’s spent much of his young life in. “This means more than anyone here knows,” said Oliver’s mom, Emily Powell. “When Oliver was born, we moved to Philadelphia for 6 months to go to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia,” said Oliver’s dad, Danny Powell.
