BETHLEHEM, Pa - The District XI individual wrestling tournament took to the mats at Liberty and Freedom on Friday night to open up action for the weekend. Liberty's Memorial Gym the backdrop for the 3A field this weekend. Through the early action, Nazareth and Bethlehem Catholic have dominated, each with eight wrestlers advancing. Brayden Zuercher of the Blue Eagles and James Deluise of the Golden Hawks, each punching their ticket into Saturday's rounds.

EASTON, Pa - A heavyweight bout on the hardwood between two of the top teams in the EPC on Monday night. Easton avenging its lone loss of the season while handing Bethlehem Catholic their first EPC loss, 47-35. The Red Rovers used a 14-0 run to take a 8-point lead into halftime, from there they'd hold on down the stretch. Eva and Lia Cole paced the Red Rovers offense in the win, Eva with a team-high 14 points and Lia with 10.

OREFIELD, Pa - Parkland hosting Northampton on Wednesday night in a boys, girls duall doubleheader. The Konkrete Kids winning on the boys side of things but the host Trojans rolled in the girls dual. In the boys dual the K-Kids would pull away down the stretch from the Trojans for the 39-21 win. Gavin Grell would pull the K-Kids even early on with a 3-1 win at 285. These two would trade blows though, at 106 Matthew Velez gets the fall for the Trojans to take the lead back, 9-3.

KUTZTOWN, Pa - The battle between Lehigh and Berks Counties on Friday night. Northwestern Lehigh comes out on top after completing the second half comeback in the PIAA-3A semifinal against Wyomissing. The Tigers trailed by 10 at the half before mounting a comeback to take the lead in the third before doing it again in the final minutes of the fourth for the 33-24 win.

ALLENTOWN, Pa - Muhlenberg is off to an undefeated start in the 2023 season, adding to that early win total with a 44-41 victory over DeSales on Tuesday night. The Mules would storm back from a double-digit deficit to knock off the Bulldogs, who was opening their season on the road. Ava Connelly and Rachel Saxton would lead the way for the Mules, Connelly with 12 and Saxton with 13. For the Bulldogs, it was Lauren Walsh leading all scorers with 14 in the effort.
